Day 6: Finally getting that pesky cd out of my computer
Finally got that little thing out after it was stuck for over a month. Thanks Dan for your help!
Day 5: Walking on the beach on a spring evening
Okay, so it was a little cold when I went, but talking a walk on the beach with my best friend makes me feel at home :]
Day 4: Blasting old Starting Line songs at night in my car
When it starts to get warmer outside, I love to roll down my windows when driving home late at night and blast old songs that I used to replay over and over in high school. Tonight’s choice was The Starting Line. I’m surprised that I still remember all the words :]
Day 3: Reading early in the morning
Sometimes when I can’t sleep, I’ll sit in my living room and read for hours, enjoying the quiet of the morning and allowing myself to get completely wrapped up in a good book :]

Day 2: Fresh strawberries
I love it when I can cut up some strawberries and bananas, add a little whipped cream on top and call it a semi-healthy breakfast :]

Day 1: My weekends spent at my dad’s house
Today I reminisced with my step mom about all of the fun things we used to do together when I would spend every other weekend at my dad’s house. Everything from ice skating to amusement parks to just jumping around on the trampoline in the backyard with my sister and step brothers are memories that will always make me smile. :]

I have no idea how to introduce this post, so I’m skipping the first paragraph.
During rehearsal on Tuesday, it came to mind that I should see my throat doctor because something didn’t feel/sound right. I went in for a visit on Wednesday and a scope of my vocal cords revealed that the granuloma…
Hang in there and get better soon! :]

I decide that tomorrow I’m starting a 365 picture challenge of different things that make me happy. Just because I appreciate all of the good things in my life :]

This is the last time that you will ever take another giant shit on my life. This is the last time I’ll let you get what you want. This is the last time I’ll think about the person you once were and how it’s still buried deep in the stitches of the fabricated and pathetic idea of a person that you have become. This is the last time that you’ll bring me close to tears when I think about how your changes have often killed the happy spirit that used to thrive throughout my veins. This is the last time I will feel sorry for your past, present, and future.
From now on, I will not let you destroy the good things I have and ruin yet another year of my college experience. Not anymore, not ever again. This weekend I’m going to close my eyes, get lost in the music of one of my favorite musicians, and never look behind me to see who’s waiting with a knife to pierce my shoulder blade.
This is the last time. I’ll keep telling this to myself and hope that this time you will finally be gone for good.
